Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, located in southern Utah, is a mesmerizing natural wonder that stands out for its unique and otherworldly landscapes. The park is renowned for its striking pink-colored sand dunes, created by the erosion of Navajo sandstone and the presence of iron oxide that imparts the sand its distinctive hue. Covering nearly 3,730 acres, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park offers visitors an opportunity to explore these ever-shifting dunes, whether by hiking, sandboarding, or off-highway vehicle riding.  This is a cool half-day type trip to a park close by.
